Britam Cancer Plan

Britam Cancer Plan

A positive cancer diagnosis could mean a lifetime of savings wiped out by hospital bills and homecare expenses.

Cancer is one of the most unpredictable as well as expensive diseases to treat. It can happen to anyone and at anytime putting a huge strain on finances.Today with modern medicine, people are successfully fighting cancer but the costs associated with the treatment and recovery can seriously affect your financial well being and that of your family. To counter these costs, you need a plan that can give you what a traditional medical cover may not give.

The Britam Cancer Plan is an individual life insurance cover whose sole purpose is to cushion you from the financial burden brought on by cancer medicare costs. This cover ensures that you get paid a lump sum in the event of a diagnosis giving you the freedom to seek treatment with a doctor and hospital of your choice.

Why you need a Britam Cancer Plan

  • What financial support do you have in place if you had to stop working due to Cancer?
  • How will your medical costs be catered for?
  • Will your family continue with the lifestyle they are accustomed to and still manage to cater for your medical expenses in such an unfortunate event?

From as little as Kshs.271 monthly premium you can make your finances immune to the strain of cancer

The Britam Cancer Plan is designed to pay a Lumpsum payout upfront on diagnosis of cancer, without the need to submit hospital bills.

YOU DECIDE how to use the cash benefits:

  • Finances: Protect your savings from being depleted by medical bills
  • Expert care: You can use the payout to receive treatment in another country
  • Home: Continue with rental payments and living expenses during and after your treatment

What’s more, the premium for this policy is affordable and remains the same throughout policy term. For example, a 30-year-old male who would like a Ksh 1,000,000 benefit for a 5-year peiod would be required to pay a monthly premium of Kshs.271 only.
