How to Update Your Payout Details on MyBritam App and Britam Customer Portal

Keeping your payout details (bank account or mobile money number) current is essential for quickly receiving funds from withdrawals, claims, or policy maturities. You can easily update this information securely on our digital platforms.

Quick Steps to Change Payout Details

Follow this simple procedure after logging in to ensure your details are up-to-date:

  1. Access Account: Log in via the MyBritam App or the Britam Customer Portal.
  2. Navigate to Profile: Go to the "My Profile" or "Personal Details" section (this is often found under the main menu or your name/icon).
  3. Locate Payout Settings: Find the "Payout Details," "Banking Information," or "Payment Settings" section.
  4. Edit Details: Click "Edit" or "Update" next to your current payout information (Bank or Mobile Money).
  5. Input New Details: Enter the new bank account number or new mobile money number you prefer for future payments.
  6. Verify & Confirm: You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) to your registered phone number or email. Enter the OTP to confirm and verify the change.
  7. Submit Request: Click "Submit" or "Save Changes." Your new payout details are now updated for future transactions.

Note: For security, any change to bank or mobile money details requires OTP verification to protect your funds.
