Milele Senior is open to individuals aged 55 years and above. You can also include your spouse and dependants under the same cover.

Premiums can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually through Britam’s approved payment channels, including mobile money, bank transfer, or direct debit. Premiums vary based on age, selected benefit limits, and any optional outpatient, dental, or optical covers.

Yes. Waiting periods apply as follows:

  • 30 days: Most general illnesses

  • 12 months: Pre-existing and chronic conditions, congenital conditions, and psychiatric treatment

  • 24 months: Organ transplants, alcohol or substance abuse rehabilitation, and critical illness cash benefits

  • Immediate: Accidents and emergencies

Simply present your Milele card at any Britam-approved hospital or healthcare facility. Pre-authorisation may be required for certain treatments, such as major surgeries, MRI/CT scans, and specialized procedures.
